Home Energy Winter Crisis Program (HEAP)
helps you and your family stay warm and safe at home in the winter months.
HEAP helps income-eligible Ohioans that are threatened with disconnection, have been disconnected, or have less than a 25 percent supply of bulk fuel in their tank maintain their utility service. The program runs during the winter months: November 1-March 31.
IMPACT Rental Assistance*, provides for necessary expenditures for eligible households who have one or more individuals within the household that have qualified for unemployment benefits or experienced a reduction in household income, incurred significant costs, or experienced other financial hardship during or due, directly or indirectly, to the coronavirus pandemic.
IMPACT is currently prioritizing tenants at eviction court. If you have a scheduled eviction hearing, please stop by the Impact table (with your required documents) at the end of the hall on the day of your hearing.
Required Documentation:
Client Intake Form
Documentation of hardship – directly, or indirectly related to the pandemic
Copies of Social Security Cards, or verification for each household member (if available)
Proof of income for household members 18 years or older for a minimum of the past 30 days (80% AMI)
Lease Agreement – signed by landlord & applicant identifying unit & established rental payment amount
Landlord/Property Manager Contact Information (First and Last Name, Phone Number, E-mail Address)

The Home Energy Assistance Summer Crisis Program provides a one-time benefit to eligible Ohioans with cooling assistance during the summer months. The program runs from July 1 to September 30.
